GirlVentures 2024 Gala will celebrate the empowerment of expansive youth in our community!  We have a very mission appropriate silent auction (think campouts, kayaking, sailing, picnics, and even a YETI), fantastic music, delicious cuisine, and a few surprises, as we celebrate the trailblazers that get us to our place of leadership in our communities!


GirlVentures inspires girls to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action.

The only nonprofit of its kind, GirlVentures combines outdoor adventure with social emotional learning for adolescent girls, at a critical time in their lives.  Starting at age 11, our youth follow the GirlVentures’ Leadership Progression Model, building confidence, leadership and life skills as they backpack, hike, kayak and rock climb in the Northern California wilderness. They learn from experiential educators and mentors while gaining knowledge and tools that empower them to reach their full potential.
 

I am personally inviting you to join me in honoring and elevating the incredible work of GirlVentures. I've been a supporter of their work since 2009, when I joined the organization as a summer instructor for Project Courage, and later, a mentor for Girlz Climb On and the Youth Advisory Board. After a decade away, I am back as a proud Board Member.

GirlVentures was a life changing experience for me as a young professional. And if it changed my life as an adult, can you imagine the impact this organization has had on the girls and gender-expansive youth that have gone through its programs over the years?
